Van Biezen Hout Import is a family business that has been active in the timber trade for three generations. As timber importers, we specialise in the supply of various types of wooden poles and beams. Every year, we supply thousands of wooden poles and full loads of sawn timber to various customers throughout the country. We can also deliver in various types of wood. For example, we supply poles in spruce, pine, larch, Douglas fir, chestnut, oak, robinia and cloeziana wood.

We supply these types of wood in both round timber and sawn timber. The round timber and baulks are imported directly from the sustainably managed production forests in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Hungary, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and South Africa.

Thanks to our extensive stock of wooden posts, we are usually able to deliver quickly. In addition, we have close cooperation with several sawmills for every type of wood, ensuring a continuous supply of all timber. In Hierden, we also have the facilities to process the wood, thus tailoring our range precisely to demand.

The round posts can be supplied either treated or untreated. The untreated posts are still in their bark. Processing wooden posts includes, amongst other things, cylindrical milling, point and crown sharpening, and impregnating the posts. We also supply sawn timber with various finishes, such as: tongue and groove, planed, with a diamond point, with mortise and tenon joints, etc.
