Van Biezen Hout Import imports various types of timber, all within Europe. We are located in Hierden, Gelderland, where we store all our products, and have a sales location in Soest, Utrecht.
Van Biezen imports and processes Robinia, Chestnut, Oak, Douglas Fir, Larch and Spruce wood at its own site. The products are traded, with or without processing, primarily in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.
We maintain a substantial stock of all the timber species we import. This allows us to deliver quickly. In addition, we have weekly shipments from Hungary, France, Lithuania, Belgium, and Germany to replenish these stocks. This enables us to supply any desired size and ensures short delivery times.
We are known for supplying a good quality product. We do this at very attractive prices and with short delivery times. Even if we don't have the desired acacia wood in stock, we can deliver quickly, as we receive multiple deliveries from Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania to our premises in Hierden every week.
Because we purchase directly from the source in large volumes, we can keep our purchase price for our wood types as low as possible. We pass this low purchase price on to our customers. Therefore, we offer competitive market prices that are usually among the lowest in the market. The largest stock of chestnut wood and robinia wood in the Netherlands is at our premises in Hierden! Thanks to our ample stocks, we are able to deliver quickly. We deliver throughout the Netherlands. Should we exceptionally not have the desired dimensions in stock, we can still arrange things quickly. We import multiple loads weekly, guaranteeing a fast delivery time. We also have a considerable stock of painted pine. Come and visit us sometime and be amazed by the large quantity of wood on site.
Through our many years of experience, we know exactly where and when to buy. Through a strict selection of suppliers, we ensure that only the best quality wood is purchased. Of course, there are sometimes “mistakes” in the deliveries. However, through a strict assessment of the products supplied to us, we are able to sort out most of these “mistakes’ before we proceed to delivery to our customers.
Wood is a fully-fledged building product with a very low ecological footprint. CO2 is stored in wood for decades. Furthermore, we source our wood from sustainably managed forests. This means that timber is harvested in a conscious manner. More trees are planted in Europe than are felled. Therefore, there is no more environmentally friendly product than our wooden posts and beams.
