Boom poles milled

We can supply cylindrical milled posts with a diameter ranging from 5 cm to 25 cm. The maximum length we can supply is 12 m. The milled posts are used for various applications. The most common applications are: spring posts, fences, enclosures, posts for playground equipment, and impregnated cylindrical round timber for the fruit-growing industry. In hydraulic engineering, cylindrical milled posts are also encountered as a row of posts or in plastic sheet piling systems, such as in the Prolock sheet piling system. Here, driven piles are also often used, where only the top few metres are milled to a fixed diameter.

Operations

Milled posts are usually unpointed, but we can adapt the finish according to customer requirements. We supply milled posts with and without points, and with or without a rounded top. Additionally, we can saw a flat side onto the milled post and can saw the post in half lengthwise. These semi-circular posts are often used for securing tree stakes or as cladding for garden sheds.
