Sewer piles:
Sewer piles or sewer piles are wooden piles used in works where the sewer is underpinned.
Particularly in peatlands that are subject to subsidence, it may be desirable to base the sewer pipes with wooden sewer piles. Kesps and chocks are often used to secure the sewer pipes to the piles.
Depending on the soil layers, it may sometimes be necessary to use sewer piles up to a length of 15 m before solid sand layers are reached that provide sufficient firm bearing capacity.
Piles with the bark still around them are usually used for sewage works. If necessary, de-barked piles can also be supplied.
