Retaining wall posts

Sheet piling posts are often used when creating nature-friendly banks. The construction of sheet piling often consists of posts and planks. Often, fabric is placed behind the posts, or complete clamped bulkheads are used. The function of sheet piling is to retain the embankment behind it on the one hand, and to protect the banks against erosion from wave action on the other. The material is applied from the bank but must also be fastened regularly from a pontoon. A machine with a crane pushes the posts into the ground one by one. Sometimes the posts are placed tightly next to each other (also called female-to-female). Other times, a greater space is left between the posts.

Alternatives

The cheapest shoring posts are the so-called raw posts. These are wooden posts that are still in the bark. In addition, cambio peeled and white peeled posts are also used. Van Biezenhout also supplies shoring posts with a fixed head diameter that can easily be placed in plastic shoring systems. These posts are milled by us. To save money, only the upper part of the shoring post is often milled. See our offer in sigma/prolock posts.
